Daily Clues & Culprits Hints (No Spoilers)

Stuck on today’s case? Every Clues & Culprits case has its own hint page with nudges that go from gentle to specific. Nothing is revealed unless you open a spoiler box.

Inside the game you also get three levels of help: the statement to re-read, the suspect it settles, and the proof. Or press Share to send a friend a link to your exact board, notes included.

Getting unstuck without hints

  1. Re-read the newest statement. Each one appears because it helps soon.
  2. Count budgets. For every count clue, note how many criminals it still needs among the unproven people. Zero, or “all of them”, settles everyone in it.
  3. Look for overlaps. Two clues that cover some of the same people are where two-clue steps hide. Tap a name in a statement to light up their card.
  4. Test a hunch with notes. Pencil in I? or C? and press Check. If the statements can’t all hold, the game names the one that breaks — a proof by contradiction.
  5. Remember the definitions. Neighbors include diagonals; “between” excludes the two ends; zero is even; “if” is one-way. See the clue-type manual.
